"Be shepherds with the smell of your sheep, in the midst of your people like Jesus the Good Shepherd" Pope Francis

I truly believe that all of us have a calling from God. But for some us we always make excuses to either not listen to His call or to even say He has yet to call me. And that was me. For a while I chose to not listen. But even through those times God loved me and continued to call me. Many events happened in my life that have lead me to this point in my faith journey.

I heard a quote that went like this. God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called. For the past four years walking with and learning with the high schoolers through LifeTeen I firmly believe he has been doing just that, qualifying me. Making me ready for His next chapter in my life.

For the past year or so I have had a calling on my heart to go out and to not only Proclaim the Gospel but to live it out. To not be afraid to share Him and His word.

I have committed to serve as a full time missionary in Haiti serving along side Father Louis Merosne in Anse-a-Veau. I will begin my formation in Louisiana  for 3 months and then begin my time in Haiti for 2 years.

I would not be able to do any of this with out the help of mission partners. This consists of course first and most importantly prayers from you. And second monthly or one time financial donations. This can range from 5 dollars to any amount you may be called to donate. Again thank you for time. Please know that I will be praying for you all while on my new journey. Thank you and God bless.

As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.
— 1 Peter 4:10

Thank you and many blessings,

Johnny
